Riley Street Station Information

Stepping into Riley Street Station at 27 Riley St, East Aurora, NY 14052 feels like sinking into one of those neighborhood gems you brag about later. The historic building-once a busy Pennsylvania Railroad depot-still carries that laid‑back gathering‑place vibe, and you can almost hear echoes of old whistles while you dive into the menu. From the moment you grab a booth in the cozy atrium by the fireplace or settle on the patio when the sun’s out, this place radiates casual warmth that’s perfect whether you’re here for lunch or dinner.

The menu here leans into comfortable American classics-think juicy burgers, hearty sandwiches, broiled fish fry, and crispy wings that draw regulars back time and again. I had the Depot Burger and a side of sweet potato fries, and while other diners seem to have varying takes on that side, for me it was the perfect blend of crispy and savory with a subtle seasoning that made it enjoyable from the first bite. Pairing that with one of the 18 beers on tap or a crafted cocktail from the bar just rounds out the meal in a way that feels effortless and fun.

Service here can be a bit of a mixed bag according to some local reviews, but on the afternoon I visited, the staff was friendly and quick with recommendations-especially helpful when deciding between the signal box souvlaki salad or the classic roast beef on weck. The atmosphere tends to lean casual and lively, with TVs at the bar and happy hour specials that make it a favorite for after‑work drinks or a weekend catch‑up.

What really makes Riley Street Station stand out among other local spots is its blend of gastropub energy and neighborhood hangout. Whether your crew is heading in for trivia night, live music on a Saturday, or just a Friday fish fry, there’s something here that feels both familiar and slightly elevated. And being just a stone’s throw from the heart of East Aurora means you can easily make a night of exploring Main Street before or after your meal.

What People's Say About Place

this is the second time my wife and I have eaten here. we had the beef on weck, and the wings..hot of course. both times we were not disappointed. the food is excellent as well as the service. we will definitely be back. thank you for the delicious food.

Busy night for them, some food items had run out, somewhat small portions. We had to wait for our reserved table. Good service, very friendly and nice when the owner checks on you! Beautiful tree out front!!

Stopped in for dinner and it was packed. We ended up just eating at the bar, as the wait was an hour. It worked out fine. Riley Street Station was decorated up nicely for the holidays. The Mediterranean wrap was good. Their fresh cut fries were great. The hand cut fingers were delicious. The scampi was reported to be good as well. The prices seemed reasonable. Service was good except for clearing the dirty plates, but overall a nice experience. We will be going back.

The Black and Blue burger was fantastic! The bacon and bleu cheese crumbles really made the burger. I ordered it medium rare and it was cooked PERFECTLY. Our waitress was wonderful - friendly and interactive. And highly attentive! I can't remember her name but we were there Wed Jan 7 2026 at 5PM. And the place was nicely decorated for Christmas still. Just beautiful inside.

We enjoyed the cowboy burgers for lunch and I opted for the sweet potato fries. The food was delicious! I have had sweet potato fries at many places and these were really good! 5/5 on the sauce! Portion size for the burger was perfect too!

Food was excellent. The chicken fingers were huge, just service was a tad slow and I Sat facing the sink/service area.... Appreciate the fact the owner or manager came around asking how our dinner was. P.S. the Cajun BBQ sauce is amazing!

Waitress did not provide specials while others did for other patrons. Sandwich was missing an ingredient listed on the menu. No mention that the sweet potato fries had additional ingredient added (brown sugar) Otherwise the burger and sandwich we got were good.

Pretty neat place as far as looks. The food was okay. The online menu is not the same as the restaurant menu ( prob just not updated) so make sure if you are going there for something specific they have it first.
